Look around — almost everything we see was designed by an artist. Visual communication and literacy have never been more important than they are today, and opportunities for career success for graduates with an art or design degree are more promising than ever.
The art program at Southern Virginia University exists to develop artists and designers in a faith-promoting environment aligned with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For more than 20 years, we’ve lifted and launched students into their dream jobs and placed many in some of the country’s top graduate programs in art and design.
We offer Art & Design scholarships to applying students, regardless of their intended major, who exhibit exceptional work ethic and potential for growth as artists or designers.
